When you think of summertime here in Montana, chances are your mind always seems to shift to lake days. Days when the sun is shining, the water is cool and you just don't want the day to end. But, unless you are retired, chances are you will find yourself daydreaming about those lake days from behind a desk or at a job site. Just imagine being able to work full time or part time at the lake. Everyday would be a lake day, plus you can get paid.

Flathead Lake is one of the summertime destinations for many Montanans. Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks are busy all season long maintaining the state fishing access and campgrounds around the giant lake. Keeping up with the high demand of tourists and lake recreation can be a grueling task without help. That is why the FWP is looking to hire seasonal help on both Flathead lake, Whitefish lake and the Thompson Chain of lakes.

According to the FWP Press Release, via Montanaoutdoor.com

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is hiring full-time and part-time positions at several state parks across the Flathead Valley to fill this spring through fall. Positions are available at Logan State Park on Middle Thompson Lake, and the Big Arm, Wayfarers, Yellow Bay, Finley Point, and West Shore units of Flathead Lake State Park. A position is also available at Whitefish Lake State Park. The six-month positions pay $14.70 per hour with paid leave and retirement benefits.

You read that correct. Nearly $15 per hour, with paid leave and benefits. What more could you ask for when it comes to a fun summer job?
