Survey Shows Missoula Rates Workplace Environment Over Wage
What's more important to you? Your workplace environment or how much you make?
A survey of 410 workers in Missoula showed a good “work environment” as a higher priority than their wage.
The stats are from LC Staffing, a local company that is trying to help employers attract and retain workers.
Missoula County’s unemployment rate is 2.8%. That's better than the statewide average of 3.7%. Because workers have more choices than usual, companies are getting creative to attract and retain talent - more so than just increasing wages.
The survey showed 25% stated wage was one of their main considerations when looking for a job. But even more, 35% listed “work environment” as a more important factor.
The survey includes other parts of Montana and wasn't limited to Missoula. Read more about it HERE!
