A U.S. Army Special Forces soldier is in stable condition after his chute failed to fully deploy Monday afternoon in Hamilton.

At approximately 9:15 p.m. Monday, a Department of Corrections inmate fell from the upper tier railing of his housing unit at the Missoula County Detention Center, striking his head on the concrete floor.

Missoula emergency crews responded to the scene of an apartment complex under construction after a worker fell four stories and landed at the bottom of an elevator shaft.

An investigation is underway after a workplace fall took the life of an employee in the Flathead. It happened at the Walmart in Kalispell and investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are looking into it.

There is a rumor going around that fall flavored beer is already out on store shelves. Apparently some beer drinkers are upset because they think that summer isn’t over yet. These beer lovers don’t want to even see a fall flavored beer until the leaves start to fall. However, I love fall, and would be thrilled to have pumpkin spice beer in the middle of July if I could get it.
