Megan Bratten, of Independence, Mo., had just gone into the local Kmart to pick up some last-minute school supplies. She was in the store for about 15 minutes and when she came out discovered that her minivan had been stolen.
Thinking quickly, she sent a text to her estranged husband's phone which was still in the minivan, pleading with the thief to return the vehicle.
You may remember the "Ship My Pants" commercial from Kmart, that became an internet sensation. Where the simple play on words makes the phrase "ship my pants" sound a little filthy. Now the commercial is back, with a holiday twist. The new version features Charles Dickens characters from "A Christmas Story."
Move over Martha Stewart, Kmart has a new lease on life with the "Ship My Pants" commercial. Every once in awhile, a group of marketing geniuses will have an idea for a commercial that is so funny you can't help but find the urge to buy the product. Let's just say that even with Kmart recently closing in Missoula, I will be shipping my pants all over the place.
