For the first time since 2008, the Montana Lady Griz will be opening their season with two straight home games, giving head coach Robin Selvig the opportunity to win his 800th game in the friendly confines of Dahlberg Arena. The University of Montana spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas

The Montana Grizzlies won an overtime thriller over San Diego Saturday night in Missoula, 67 to 66, while the Lady Griz beat UNLV in Las Vegas on Saturday, also in OT, 69 to 65.

The Montana Lady Griz evened its record at 1-1 with a dominating 75-45 win over MSU Northern Tuesday night inside the Dahlberg Arena.

Both the Griz and Lady Griz dropped their opening games on the road last night.
