A bad incident during hunting season.

Hunting season is almost over for West Central Montana.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game check stations have reported in on the latest weekend of general rifle season and the numbers are down from last year.

Final numbers have been posted for hunting season in Montana and the numbers are looking good.

Opening weekend of General Hunting season in Montana was a let down for me. I was unable to accomplish much due to other obligations. For me, missing opening day is sacrilegious. I was even more disappointed to find out that just about everyone in my hunting circle punched a tag this last weekend.
