Sunday brought its own series of thunderstorms driven by strong winds into western Montana. Meteorologist Brian Conlan with the National Weather Service has details.

Over the weekend, the National Weather Service reported unusual east wind gusts that knocked over trees and caused downed power lines. Missoula Police Sergeant Jerry Odlin says officers were busy all Saturday night into Sunday patrolling the roads in the Rattlesnake area.
