A string of robberies began around 9:45 Saturday evening in Missoula. According to Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh, the first robbery occurred when a woman was confronted by a man with a knife.

A young woman is in police custody after a reported armed robbery attempt last Friday, February 12.
