Memphis has a great musical tradition and rock music will definitely be on display as part of the Beale Street Music Festival. Alice in Chains, the Black Keys and Smashing Pumpkins have been selected as the headliners for the three-day music weekend.
The Black Keys' 'Lonely Boy' has won Best Rock Song at the 2013 Grammys. The tune kicks off the Ohio garage-rock duo's seventh full-length, 'El Camino,' which also came up big at tonight's ceremony, earning Best Rock Album honors.
Green Day have signed on to headline this year's Voodoo Experience in New Orleans, which takes places October 26th through the 28th. The trio last headlined the festival in 2004.
