Hamilton was one of the stops in the statewide Get Out The Vote (GOTV) rally for Democrats in Montana this past weekend. Hamilton's Rocky Mountain Grange Hall was filled with supporters as Senator Jon Tester and House of Representatives candidate Kathleen Williams were introduced by Montana Governor Steve Bullock. The candidates highlighted their differences with their Republican opponents - including pre-existing medical conditions, public lands, veterans care and public education. They also urged those attending the afternoon rally to encourage others to get to the polls and vote.

Tiffany Muller of End Citizens United also spoke about the fight against the US Supreme Court decision allowing personal rights to corporations. Rex Rank appeared on stage in his race for Clerk of Montana Supreme Court. The rally tour will wrap up Monday at the University of Montana campus in Missoula and in Great Falls. Ravalli County polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 6. About 13,000 absentee ballots have already been collected, a new record for Ravalli County, according to Clerk and Recorder Regina Plettenberg. KLYQ will have results when they become available on KLYQ 1240 AM, on klyq.com and on your cellphone KLYQ app. We'll also have an election wrap-up in our regular Wednesday newscast, Bitterroot Morning, at 7:30 a.m. November 7.
