The Griz Have Announced Their 2021 Football Schedule
It's been anything but a normal past 12 months for us all. That might be an understatement when you're talking about the University of Montana and all the changes to the Griz football schedule. There was hope that they 2020 season could somehow be played and the games would go on. But as we moved through last summer it became pretty clear that things were heading into the unknown when it came to the immediate future of Griz games.
We had a schedule. Then the Big Sky Conference postponed the fall season. Then we had a shortened conference schedule that would be played in the early part of this year - but the University recently opted out of those games. And as we sit here in the middle of March we now have one game for the spring that's scheduled to be played at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in April. At this point, who knows what could change between now and then.
But with the hope that things will be a bit more normal in the world when football season rolls around again - the Griz have announced their 2021 fall schedule. If you take a good look you might realize things look a bit familiar as the 2020 conference games that were canceled are being moved to the 2021 schedule. Let's all think happy thoughts that we can have Washington-Grizzly stadium rocking when the first scheduled home game rolls around on September 11.
