‘The Hangover Part III’ Casts John Goodman as the Villain
Who knew ‘The Hangover’ films were in need of a villain when they’ve already got a wealth of absurd jerks? Todd Phillips wants to up the ante, and he’s looking to John Goodman to fill the shoes of the bad guy in ‘The Hangover Part III.’
According to Variety, John Goodman is joining the cast of ‘The Hangover Part III’ in a small, but key antagonistic role. The villain in ‘The Hangover’ was Ken Jeong (who had a very memorable nude scene), and the baddie in ‘The Hangover Part II’ was the always spot-on Paul Giamatti. This time around, Todd Phillips is looking to Goodman to act as an obstacle to returning stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, and Zach Galifianakis.
Please, we all know the real enemy here is ourselves, for paying to see these movies and ensuring that this third entry exists. Shame on all of you, America.
Also recently announced is the return of Ken Jeong, Mike Epps, and Heather Graham‘s stripper character from the first film, though no announcement has been made for a return of baby Carlos.
Plot details are scarce, but rumor has it the story may involve breaking Alan (Galifianakis) out of a mental hospital.
