These are Missoula’s Favorite Christmas Movies
We asked you to tell us your favorite Christmas movies, and boy did you respond. There are a lot of great Christmas movies, to begin with, and at least one of you named so many of them, including classics like A (Muppets) Christmas Carol, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Miracle on 34th Street, The Polar Express, A Christmas Story, and The Santa Clause, plus a few we'd forgotten about, like Grumpy Old Men, Meet Me in St. Louis, Scrooged, and Prancer.
A whole bunch of people mentioned (contentious choices) Die Hard and Home Alone, and you were split three ways for the second-most popular Christmas film between Elf, It's a Wonderful Life, and White Christmas.
But for Missoula's most favorite Christmas movie, it wasn't even close: you all just adore National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! I guess there's just something about madcap comedy that brings the whole family together around the holidays.
If you want to celebrate Christmas the Missoula way, we recommend you give Christmas Vacation another watch (or, if by some sad miracle, you've never seen it before, make it a point to rectify that error). Maybe it'll inspire a new Christmas tradition, like going out and cutting your own Christmas tree...
