The wait is over. Three Days Grace are back on the scene with new music and soon fans will have a full album to digest. The band's sixth studio album is titled Outsider and it will be released March 9 via RCA Records. To kick off promotion for the disc, they've has also issued a brand new video for the song "The Mountain" that you can see above.

Workout warriors should be thrilled with this motivational new clip and cut. The band teamed up with director Sean Cartwright for the video, which was filmed at a UFC octagon and features a guest cameo by UFC fighter Misha Cirkunov. If you like the song, it's currently available to purchase via the retailer of your choice at this location.

“To me, Outsider represents the journey to find your place,” says bass player Brad Walst of the themes that help populate the band's upcoming disc. “The world feels crazy at times. We try to get away from that every once in a while. We do our own thing, and we’re comfortable doing it. We have always looked forward—and not backwards. That’s an ongoing theme.”

Doing their "own thing" on Outsider meant getting back to the basics. The band wrote a portion of the disc in a converted garage behind Brad Walst's house two hours away from Toronto. “This is all about taking a step back from life’s madness without destroying yourself, cutting everyone off, or going crazy,” says Neil Sanderson. “You get a break and find the space to create.” Sanderson then offered up his farm as a space to further shape the songs before the group reconvened in an Ontario studio with producers Gavin Brown and Howard Benson, engineer Mike Plotnikoff and mixer Chris Lorde-Alge. Sanderson says this marks the first time that production team has all been available to them since arguably their biggest album, One-X.

While the album is now on the release schedule, Three Days Grace are just getting started when it comes to touring. The band currently has four festival shows on their schedule, but you can expect more dates to come. For now look for Three Days Grace playing Tampa's Rockfest on April 20, Orlando's Earthday Birthday on April 21, Charleston, South Carolina's Rockfest on April 22 and Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio on May 18.

The Outsider album is now available for pre-order. You can do so through the vendor of your choosing here or check out the band's official store pre-order at this location.
