That gem of a state park on Highway 12 just outside of Lolo has planned a terrific auction for you Lewis & Clark fans.

Travelers’ Rest Connection supports Travelers’ Rest State Park through outreach, advocacy and educational experiences connecting the past to the future. They accomplish this in part thanks to a loyal membership base and generous donors. That is evident in the fantastic auction items they produce each year.

Like most events, COVID-19 has turned Travelers' Rest Connection up-side-down and they are unable to host a traditional auction this year. In lieu of an in-person event they will be hosting an "Auction Inversion" online February 19-26, 2021.

A unique partnership between Montana State Parks and Travelers' Rest Connection ensures that Travelers’ Rest State Park provides the highest level of visitor services, as well as unique educational opportunities.  From tours to storytelling, from field trips to community events, there is always a wide variety of programs for children and adults.  These programs are delivered by professional Parks staff, Americorps members, and  dedicated volunteers. And Travelers' Rest State Park boasts some pretty cool stats:

35,000+ visitors each year

10,000 years as a cultural crossroads among Native American peoples

3,000 hours volunteered as guides and interpreters

2,000 school children experiencing hands-on natural and cultural history on field trips

130+ species of birds identified

65 acres of natural beauty

The ONLY archaeologically verified campsite of Lewis  & Clark and the Corps of        Discovery
