Trump-Approved Coke Could Hit Montana Shelves Soon

My kid is a BIG fan of the "Mexican Coke." You know, the Coke in the glass bottles? Not because of the bottle. But because he can taste the difference in REAL sugar. Well, now, fans of "Mexican Coke"  are getting excited over what some locals are calling “Trump Soda.” Not because it’s red, white, and fizzy, but because this new version of Coca-Cola was given the thumbs-up by none other than Trump himself during his entire Make America Healthy Again business.

The concept is straightforward: Coke is releasing a new version made with real cane sugar, replacing high fructose corn syrup. It is a shift that is happening across the country, CNN reports. It’s due out very soon, and there are a lot of people calling it “the return of the real thing.”

No Clear Date for Montana Yet

Here’s the catch. I called the local Coca-Cola distributor here in Montana to find out when we could expect it on our shelves. And the answer was… crickets. No firm date. No solid timeline. Just a game of hopscotch from office to office with the same answer of "I don't know, let me put you through to someone who does."

In other words, Montana may not be the first to pop the tops of Trump Soda. And if there’s one thing we’re really good at here, it’s being the last to get anything fun in the grocery store. Who recalls the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos panic? I do!

A Sweet Classic Gets a Political Twist

The company hasn’t exactly slapped the label on it formally; “Trump Soda” is still considered more of a nickname, despite Trump’s communal endorsement and MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) movement. Like him, hate him, or just want your soda to taste like it did in the 80s, it’s a marketing play difficult to ignore.

For now, Montana can do nothing but wait. And if this rollout is anything like past launches, we’ll likely see it trickle in slowly but surely... Aisle by aisle, cooler by cooler.
