Two Missoula Residents Face Drug Charges At Idaho Hot Springs
Two Missoula residents face drug possession charges after visiting Weir Hot Springs, just off U.S. Highway 12 in Idaho on June 30.
Idaho County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Trudy Slagle said on Thursday morning that on June 30, 22 year-old Miranda Goetz and 28 year-old Corey Olsen of Missoula were both charged with possession of a controlled substance, while Olsen was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
In addition two others, one from Washington and another from California were charged with drug related offenses, while another Montana man has cited for having an invalid drivers license.
Lt. Doug Ulmer remarked, "people go to the hot springs to enjoy themselves, and they are unable to do so when there are others there using drugs."
