Lake County Sheriff Don Bell reported over the weekend that just after 10:00 p.m. on Friday, two gunshot victims were transported to a local emergency room by a private vehicle.

The victims, a man and a woman, had been shot at a home on Whispering Pines Drive in Pablo by the alleged assailant 32 year-old Joshua McGreevey.

Lake County deputies, Flathead Tribal Police and the Montana Highway Patrol all responded to the home, however, McGreevey had already fled on foot. He was located later that night at another residence in Pablo.

McGreevey was arrested and booked into the Lake County Jail on two counts of attempted deliberate homicide.

Both victims are expected to survive their gunshot wounds.

The investigation is underway by Lake County Sheriff’s detectives.
