Two US Senators Bet Beef Jerky on Upcoming FCS Semi-Final Game
It was a rough beat for the Montana Grizzlies last week having to witness key players get injured in a quarter-final game versus James Madison University. It has also been a tough week as a Griz fan watching all the talk about our rivals, the MSU Bobcats, who are moving on to the semifinals this weekend.
At the end of the day, MSU is representing Montana. We should lift our heads high and support MSU and their journey to the National Championship game.
The Bobcats are gearing up for a home game in Bozeman. They are looking to take down the South Dakota State Jackrabbits and move on to the National Championship game. But not without generating a little rivalry of their own.
Montana Senator, Steve Daines, is a proud graduate of Montana State University. Needless to say, he is a die-hard Bobcats fan. South Dakota Senator, Mike Rounds, is a proud graduate of South Dakota State University. Needless to say, he is a die-hard Jackrabbits fan. These two U.S. senators are having a little fun ahead of the big semifinal game. Why not have a good old-fashioned friendly bet on which team will come out on top?
Both senators agree that the losing team's senator must wear the winning team's hat on the Senate floor. The loser must also supply the winner a hefty supply of beef jerky from the losing team's state.
