Two Western Montana Restaurants Close Due to COVID-19 Exposure

Unfortunate news to report as it is starting to feel like we, as a state, are moving backward in our fight against COVID-19. You know that Paradise Falls quickly closed their doors after one of their employees tested positive for COVID-19. Two more restaurants are experiencing the same as our virus numbers continue to grow each day.

The Staggering Ox on South Russell is now closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The business was notified last week and released the times that the employee had worked. Those times were June 20th, 21st and 22nd, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you feel like you were exposed during those times, you are encouraged to call the COVID-19 hotline for testing, 406-258-4636. The Staggering Ox Facebook page states that they plan to re-open after a 14-day quarantine.

Fin's Taphouse in Corvallis is also closed, but because of a customer who had visited. The times that the customer was at Fin's has been narrowed down to June 23rd and June 24th between 3 and 7 p.m. If you fee like you may have been exposed during those times, you are encouraged to reach out to the Ravalli County Health Department at 406-375-6670.

As of Tuesday morning, June 30th, 49 additional COVID-19 cases were reported in Montana, bringing the state up to 967 confirmed cases.
