UPDATE: New Evaro Montana Steakhouse Announces Grand Opening

With warmer temperatures here, it is officially grilling season. I considered pan-frying a steak the other night, and it dawned on me that I hadn't fired up the grill in months. So it was time to light some fires and cremate some meat. Too bad I'm not the best at cooking a perfect steak. The grill had too many hot spots, I kept running out of pellets, and the fire kept going out. It was a debacle.

Thankfully some people are offering up their grilling expertise on a plate.

Kim and Scott Feldkamp, of Billings, MT, are the new owners of a fabulous steakhouse in Evaro. KAMPFIRE STEAKHOUSE is a destination steakhouse for serious meat eaters. Owners Kim and Scott are seasoned restaurant owners who operated a successful steakhouse in Edgar. The Edgar Bar Steakhouse created a huge following when they unveiled GIANT prawns on their menu, in addition to hand-cut steaks.

We spoke with the Manager, Blake Chamberlin about a possible date for the Grand Opening. He informed us that the KAMPFIRE family has everything lined out and is ready to open the doors for dinner. THURSDAY MAY 30TH

Our friend Ryan Pillsbury had an opportunity to get a sneak peek of the new steakhouse. During a soft opening, KAMPFIRE STEAKHOUSE cranked out some of its finest menu items. According to Ryan's review,

The steak I had here tonight is now the reference standard for any steaks I eat in the future. My fear is that I won't have a better one.
