I quote Joe Dirt on this one "Here are my favorite bands: AC/DC, Van Halen (not Van Haggar), Skynard, Def Lep......". For todays vidiot pick, we take a trip into the past and the present.

They are back. Love them or hate them. This band has had a huge influence on rock and roll. Van Halen is one of the top selling recording artist of all time. Their "hayday" was back in the 80's when they released such classic songs like "Jump" and "Panama". Just like Joe Dirt, I have always been a sucker for ol skool Van Halen.  Not only because of Eddie Van Halen's sick guitar solos. But also because of their front man, David Lee Roth. In my book, this goofy sumbitch is ONE of the all time greatest front men in rock history.

The band is known for having lots of drama. They always seemed to have some sort of disagreement throughout the bands history. That is the reason we haven't seen much of DLR in the last 20 years. Except for his attempted solo career. See Below.

According to loudwire.com: "It’s been 28 years since Van Halen released an album with David Lee Roth at the vocal helm, and ‘Tattoo’ is the first single from VH and DLR’s reunion album, ‘A Different Kind of Truth,’ due out Feb. 7."
