The two-day Bitterroot Winter Special Olympics got off to a great start Tuesday, January 24.

Lost Trail Powder Mountain lets the organization use the mountain for all the competition and fun every year. In fact, this is the 36th year for the event.

We have video of the flags being "skied in" to the opening ceremony and two special presentations to the crowd. Following that is an interview with one of the main organizers of the event, Randy Hodgson.
