On April 14th of 2017, back in the old days when we could still go to concerts, Eagles Of Death Metal opened for Mastodon at The Wilma. The show was electric, there wasn't a still body in the room. Jesse 'The Devil' Hughes (aka Boots Electric) introduced his new bass player on stage, saying it was her very first show with the band, of course we all cheered like crazy. Jennie Vee has an outstanding stage presence and is a magnificent bassist, she posted this memory to Instagram on Tuesday (4/14.)

3 years ago today I played my first show with EAGLES OF DEATH METAL in Missoula, MT. It was the start of one of two tours we did with @mastodonrocks and it was the start of an amazing journey with a group of amazing people who would become my family ❤️ I am grateful every day for these guys, I call them my brothers because we are a family. We have travelled together and played to thousands of smiling faces - Eagles of Death Metal is the special forces of rock and it spreads joy and happiness and boogie woogie everywhere it goes. I love this band, our crew and our fans more than anything - happy 3 year EODM anniversary - to each one of you guys - I love you! @fatherbadass @jormadanielvik @edenknievel @itookthisphoto @nowayjove @jhobabyduck @mikegdrummer @e_eppi @mckaytouring @cararar ❤️ @willstockwell #eaglesofdeathmetal #eodm @eodmofficial
