You know the song "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles? Well, I am a firm believer that reality TV killed the music videos on MTV. Ever since we glued ourselves to the TV back in the early 90s watching "The Real World," MTV has been seeing dollar signs. And we have been seeing less and less music television.

Now don't lie. You love watching some of the reality shows on MTV. They are WILD! Heck, even yours truly auditioned to be on Road Rules back in 2001. But, the casting people felt that Abram Boise from Bozeman was a better fit for the job. And we all know how that turned out....

Fast forward to 2021 and MTV is back in Montana. Not to cast anyone from Montana to be on a reality show. But, to film a reality show and implant a group of party animals from "Floribama Shore" in our backyard. Thats right, one of MTV's hit reality shows filmed in a quite neighborhood in Lolo.

According to MTV:

"MTV Floribama Shore is returning to MTV on February 25 -- and the Southerners are hitting the road and leaving Florida after three summers. No more PCB or St. Pete -- it's cheers to "new beginnings." In Montana?!

Neighbors in Lolo have wondered why one of the houses on their block was lit up. With camera crews constantly chasing folks around the house and around western Montana.

So what is the show about?

According to Wikipedia:

"Floribama Shore (officially known as MTV Floribama Shore) is an American reality television series that premiered on MTV from November 27, 2017 in the United States. It is a successor to Jersey Shore. They are filmed partying, working, living in a new environment, and bonding."

Check out the trailer for season 4 of Floribama Shore, featuring footage from Montana and Arizona.
