Because Ted was Seth MacFarlane's first movie, he brought in a lot of friendly faces, er voices, from Family Guy. Stars Mila Kunis (Meg), Alex Borstein (Lois), Patrick Warburton (Joe) and Patrick Stewart (Baby Susie) all worked with MacFarlane on his animated series before being cast in Ted. And, that's not all. MacFarlane, who produces Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey for National Geographic, asked host and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson to approve the shots of the night sky to make sure the stars looked right. That's pretty impressive detail for a movie about a filthy stuffed bear.
