Five Most Unromantic Foods – Beware This Valentine’s Day

If you’re planning on cooking for your date or taking her out for a nice Valentine’s Day meal, there are a few foods you want to avoid. Most of these foods could probably be considered manly foods, but that is not why they are on the naughty, do not eat list. They made the list because they are disgusting to watch you eat them, or they make you disgusting after you eat them. Sorry guys, but you can enjoy these foods any of the other 363 days a year. (No, my counting is not off. You are also banned from eating these on your anniversary too.)

Ribs and wings

If the fat eating and lip smacking doesn’t make your gal nauseous, the saucy finger sucking is sure to make her stomach turn.

Beans

These aren’t necessarily unromantic to eat. It’s just what happens after they are ingested that makes them not so good for your love life.

Corn on the cob

The chomping and corn sucking are almost more than one can handle. The thing that really gets you is when there are bits and pieces of cob stuck between your date’s teeth.

Garlic and onion

A very minimal amount of these is acceptable, but don’t overdo it. No woman wants to kiss a man that is sweating onions through his pours. It makes it hard for us to get in the mood.

Spam

Nothing says unprepared and nasty like canned meat. I’m not sure there is any amount of gravy that can make it edible, and certainly not enough to make it the least bit romantic.
