Metallica “The Game”?

loudwire.com

Recently an old trailer and concept art have surfaced of a game that Metallica was set to release to all major consoles. How sweet would that have been? Not sure why the game was never released, but according to Loudwire.com : The teaser trailer was tucked in versions of ‘St. Anger,’ so the game clearly was in somewhat of an advanced developmental stage, if assets were created and promoted. The game never materialized, but the remnants are still out there. Perhaps it can be resurrected? Perhaps not. It’s still a cool nugget of Metallica lore to unearth.

Check out the trailer for the game, which was supposed to be released back in 2005. It looks to me like a Metallica themed version of “Twisted Metal.”
