A preteen-looking Jack Black delivers his trademark overexcited delivery in this 1980s clip for the classic Atari game ‘Pitfall.’ It’s hilarious! You gotta give the kid credit for nailing down his shtick early and sticking to it.
For those who weren’t around to play it, ‘Pitfall’ was a thrilling ‘Indiana Jones’ –esque adventure game about an 8-bit explorer swinging through a swamp trying to avoid alligators, bad guys and, well … falling into pits. And, no, Atari didn’t require you to wear a safari hat like Jack is doing here to play, but it always made the game a lot more fun if you did. Can’t you see how excited Lil’ Jackie Boy is here?
