Spring Turkey Results (So Far) And Perch Bite On Flathead – Montana Outdoor Update

Saturday was the Spring opener for Turkey in Montana. Unfortunately for me, those ugly birds outsmarted me. Good thing I got more time to get out there and possibly bag one. I had a poor turnout Saturday on my quest for the elusive “Gobbler.” Having a morning that looked more like a “Wylie Coyote vs. The Roadrunner” cartoon. Good thing the Perch fishing on Flathead Lake on Sunday took the “bad taste” out of my mouth. Hooking into a mess of Perch sure made my weekend.
