Strong winds in Missoula this week made mild temperatures feel downright chilly, which got me to thinking, what's the deal with the wind chill factor?

I thought that running outside after a snowstorm was pretty crazy. And then I found out about the Frosters Anonymous phenomenon.

I don't wanna give you a "Back in my day" speech. But it seems like "snow days" are rare occurences here in Montana. We are used to extreme weather. I feel like the bus drivers back in my public school days were as diligent as postmen. " Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds...

MISSOULA COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED, school is canceled, it's officially a SNOOOOW DAAAAY!!  woo hoo!  Frenchtown, DeSmet, St. Joes, Loyola, Florence Carlton, Hamilton and Corvallis are also jumping on board, school is canceled.

With the winter storm on the way, I thought I would treat you to a good winter driving song.
