Sometimes we take this beautiful state for granted. Montana is literally the "Last Best Place". We know what "it is" to be American. It is about community. It is about helping one another. It is about family. Most of all it is about strength. It is a special time of year to me and many other people around the world. Before you ask yourself "What kind of sappy s#!t is K.C. talking about?", take a time out and watch the following clip from "The Today Show". It shows how truly special we Montanans are and how lucky we are to be surrounded by such amazing people. In the spirit of the season we reflect on what we are grateful for and what we are willing to give back. With Christmas coming up, I quote John F. Kennedy:
"We ask, therefore, that we may be worthy of our power
and responsibility, that we may exercise our strength
with wisdom and restraint, and that we may achieve in
our time and for all time the ancient vision of ‘peace
on earth, good will toward men.’ That must always be
our goal, and the righteousness of our cause must always
underlie our strength.”
Merry Christmas Montana
