$400,000 Bond For Rape – Assault – Forcing Woman To Ingest Methamphetamine Over Several Days
33 year-old Randal James Everybody Talks About is in the Missoula County Jail on $400,000 bond for allegedly forcing a woman to ingest methamphetamine in addition to pistol whipping her and sexually assaulting her over several days.
According to court documents, Everybody Talks About allegedly picked up a woman in a vehicle just after he had been released from the Missoula County Jail, thinking she was the reason he had been arrested, and struck her with his fists, then checked into a Missoula motel room with her.
He allegedly strangled her into unconsciousness multiple times, pistol whipped her and forced her to ingest meth when she refused to take the drug orally.
Deputy Missoula County Attorney Brian Lowney laid out the facts in the complaint.
"He's charged with three crimes currently, namely sexual intercourse without consent, aggravated assault and criminal possession of dangerous drugs," he said. "These are largely centered around a weekend in which he perpetrated violence upon his victim, including strangulation and other assaultive behavior towards her. Obviously, the sexual intercourse without consent charge encompasses what people commonly refer to as rape."
(The following charging documents contain graphic details that the victim allegedly endured. Parental guidance is suggested.)
Lowney explained to Judge Landee Holloway why he requested such a high bail amount.
"Largely that's because of the danger to the community, as the court can see from the complaint," Lowney began. "It's plain to see the violence that Mr. Everybody Talks About perpetrated upon the victim in this case is extreme and happened over the course of several days. Beyond that, though, he's currently on probation out of Flathead County. I would also note that he has posted prior bails of $50,000, $20,000 and another $50,000, and yet continues to violate his probation conditions. He currently has a $100,000 warrant out for his arrest in Flathead County."
Sexual intercourse without consent carries a maximum penalty of up to 100 years in prison, while the aggravated assault charge can bring up to 20 years, as does the criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.
Judge Holloway set bail at $400,000, and remanded Everybody Talks About back to the jail. His next court appearance is set for May 18.
