5 Tips for Effective Nose Hair Trimming
September 8 is National Nose Hair Maintenance Day. In my opinion, it is a very underrated holiday. I’m sure you have met people who should observe this holiday more than once a year. Suprisingly guys, gals do not dig spider legs dangling out of your nostril. Not surprisingly gals, guys do not want to see any spider legs waving hello to them from your nostrils either. As nasty as guy nose hairs are, lady nose hairs are about a trillion times nastier. Women are supposed to be pretty hairless when it comes to the body, so extra long nose hairs are especially nasty. Here are a few tips to help you keep those nose hairs trimmed all year round.
Numb the nostril – This may help in keeping your eyes from watering. Just put a small piece of ice up the nostril you are going to trim. This should numb your nostril well enough that you could even survive plucking with tweezers.
Clean it first– This may seem obvious, but it is very important. The last thing you want to do is clog your trimmer with boogers, or pull a long stringy boog out on the tip of your tweezers.
Don’t over do it – I know they can be disgusting, but they do serve a purpose. Their job is to keep those pesky dust particles and other foreign bodies from getting into our bodies.
Light it up – Make sure you have plenty of light. You don’t want to miss a single stray hair.
Boil some water – When you are finished with the whole ordeal, there is nothing quite like a good steam to open up those pores and restore the moisture to your nostrils.
