All That Remains Unveil Lyric Video for ‘Louder’
With the release of their latest album Madness just over two weeks away, All That Remains have put together another lyric video. Check out "Louder" above.
Frontman Phil Labonte talks about the inspiration behind "Louder," saying, “The song ‘Louder’ is about not backing down or self censoring because people yell about what you think or believe. There will always be people who want to shout you down or say you can't and that's when you have to stand firm. There isn't really an overall theme of this record any more than there was for any other ATR disc. Lyrically it's all small parts of my life I put together and laid down. They're all small parts of me.”
He spoke with Metal Hammer about the theme of Madness. "There isn't really an overall theme of this record any more than there was for any other All That Remains disc," Labonte says. "Lyrically it's all small parts of my life I put together and laid down. They're all small parts of me."
Madness is the band's eighth album, and was produced by Howard Benson (Halestorm, Skillet). It's the first album for bassist Aaron Patrick (Bury Your Dead, DevilDriver), who joined the group in 2015.
The day after the album drops, All That Remains will kick off a tour for the disc on April 29 at Welcome to Rockville. Prior to that they'll be playing Brufest in Phoenix, Ariz. on April 15 and Las Rageous in Las Vegas April 22. They have numerous shows scheduled through late May, including playing alongside Korn, The Devil Wears Prada and Five Finger Death Punch.
