Anthony Kiedis’ Foot Surgery Forces Red Hot Chili Peppers to Postpone Tour Dates
Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis recently underwent surgery for multiple foot injuries, forcing the band to postpone their upcoming U.S. tour dates.
Kiedis is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing the surgeries to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot.
The tour which was originally slated to launch Jan. 20 in Sunrise, Fla., will now take place over two legs. A spring jaunt will kick off March 31 in Orlando, Fla., and run through an April 12 gig in Memphis, Tenn. After that, a summer/fall jaunt will start Aug. 14 in Oakland, Calif., and wrap up Oct. 25 in Little Rock, Ark.
