TOTFEST 2026 Is Bringing Heavy Metal, Tater Tots, and Charity Together Again

Missoula’s wildest heavy metal mashup returns. TOTFest 2026 is coming to the Dark Horse Bar on Saturday, Aug. 29th, with 16 bands, two stages, and enough fried potatoes to make you second-guess your life choices by Sunday morning.

A day that I daydream about all year. Hours of nonstop rock, fried potato shreds, and heavy metal camaraderie. Not to mention gaining some home-cooking skills by learning how people really make a proper tater tot casserole.

Every penny raised goes directly to The Street Dog Coalition. A charity that provides free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness. An amazing group of people that uses a One Health approach to street medicine. They provide preventative veterinary care via pop-up street clinics and collaborate with community partners to offer additional services.

You can grab tickets early at TOTFest.org or purchase them at the event. VIP packages are also available, loaded with limited‑edition shirts, posters, and merch that will most likely sell out before any band takes the stage.

Only catch? You’ve got to be there to win. So don’t ghost early, or you might find yourself halfway to another round of cheesy tots when you hear your name announced.

Bring earplugs, an appetite, and maybe a little extra cash, because you could walk away from TOTFest with more than a bellyache.
