We've seen and heard the ridiculous stories of tourists in Yellowstone National Park who may not have had their heads screwed on too tight upon their visit, but now in Glacier?!

Why is this even a cool thing to do? Is 'We Dem Boyz' so important to these people that you literally have to carve it into a rock?

Philip Granrud, the publisher of the pictures, took these while on his trip to Glacier recently. Here's what he had to say:

The other day, during one of my rare visits to Glacier Park this year because of my work, I stumbled across this graffiti along the Going-to-the-Sun Road that parallels one of the most pristine and scenic rivers in America. McDonald Creek. It appears they scraped or carved the words right into the rock. I didn't go down there to inspect it closer. When I zoomed in on my photos though, it looks like it took them a lot of work to do this. Scratching it back and forth multiple times over for each letter. Those beautiful rock formations took countless years to form. It probably took them minutes to kinda ruin it. This part of McDonald Creek in Glacier is probably one of the more beautiful parts, with a large waterfall just on the other side of the bridge, and giant cedar trees lining the colorful rocky banks. If you've never been to this spot, it's nature at it's finest. My photos don't do it justice to how beautiful it is. I don't understand why someone would do that. What they wrote is just stupid too. Glacier Park is a one-of-a-kind area unlike anything else in the lower 48. It's also just over 1 million acres, so it's impossible to always be patrolled. Please feel free to react and share if you want.

What's next? Are we overreacting to the damage of our national parks? Comment below.
