Avenged Sevenfold Tease October 27 Streaming Performance
For a while now, Avenged Sevenfold have been teasing Oct. 27 as a big day for the band and now we know why. The group has just revealed that they will be streaming a performance on their Facebook page for the entire world to see.
In a new announcement, the band states, "On Oct. 27 we will be performing on a very grand stage for the entire world to enjoy. Secure your front row seat by joining us on our Facebook page at precisely 8:30PM PDT on the 27th. You’ll also be able to watch in 3D 360° and Virtual Reality on AvengedSevenfold.com. This is a MUST SEE live streamed event for fans across the world that you will not want to miss!!!! #A7XOCT27LIVE."
Though Avenged Sevenfold have played a number of shows in 2016, for some this will be their first time checking out the band playing with longtime Bad Religion drummer Brooks Wackerman behind the kit. The musician joined Avenged after they parted ways with Arin Ilejay following the touring support of their previous album.
Avenged Sevenfold recently revealed a new single and video titled "The Stage," and shortly after the clip premiered, the band took it to "the stage" for the first time, performing the song at Knotfest Mexico. "The Stage" is currently available via multiple digital options at this location.
It has been widely rumored that the band's new album will be titled Voltaic Oceans and that the disc will be released by Capitol Records during the month of December. However, official details on the album release aren't expected to be revealed until the Oct. 27 online event. So stay tuned and be sure to sign on to catch this special streaming performance.
