Local comic James Johnson is throwing a party on the same day and time that a "political cowboy," who considers himself a comedian, will be in town.

On the same night that the Wilma is welcoming a super shitty comedian to Missoula, Revival Comedy is bringing together some of the town's best comics for a fundraiser for one of our favorite local non-profits, BASE Missoula.

Why? It's the birthday of local comedian James Johnson, and he wanted to celebrate by raising money for a good cause with a great stand-up show. Is there a nicer guy? There is not.

We're asking for a suggested donation of $5, but everyone is welcomed no matter what you can give.

The line up includes:

Aaron Juhl
Alyssa Calabrese
Becky Margolis
Peggy Eden
Eliza Oh
Heidi Junkersfeld
Ian St Onge
Lenny Peppers
Madison Halland
Nathan Patrick St Onge
Patrick Sugar Bush
Tim Miller
Zack Jarvis

Not familiar with BASE? Located at 725 W. Alder, it's a safe, welcoming community center where people of all abilities can be themselves, learn, meet friends, and have fun. The center offers mountains of WOW (With Or Without disability) programming, which includes all-abilities yoga, game nights, improv classes, open mics performances, art projects, poetry, dance lessons, and loads more. The kicker, it's FREE for everyone.

Join us in celebrating James' birthday and great local comedy on Tuesday, August 13th from 8 to 10 p.m. at The Badlander!
