This week, some of the ladies from the Big Sky Basketball team stopped into the studio to talk about the big cross-town rival GOAT game coming up this Friday.

Until recently the Big Sky Girls Basketball team wasn't invited to play in the big GOAT game played yearly at the Adams Center. If I wasn't even looked at as a competitor for a rivalry game, I would have a bit of a chip on my shoulder, and that's how this team will be taking the court this Friday. No prisoners, no mercy. Straight-up Cobra Kai style.

Speaking with the gals, each brought a bright perspective to the already successful season. Last week they routed Sentinal with a 20-point win. It's the first time they took the W against them in 11 years.

The team consists of players from all grade levels, including freshman, Avory Decoite. While most freshmen would be intimidated at a starting varsity spot, Avory has been playing with her most of her teammates for years now.

It makes things very easy after playing with them for that long. You're kind of already comfortable in their space -Avory Decoite

The crosstown matchup GOAT games will take place this Friday inside of the Adams Center on the campus of the University of Montana. The doors will open at five and the girl's tip-off is at 6 pm. They are urging everyone to come out and show some support, so they have even upped the "fun" level another notch by making it "Disco Themed".

So throw on those bell bottoms and get down to watch what could be the biggest Missoula matchup of the year this Friday!
