There was a recent poll I read that asked people if they would rather be 30% smarter or 90% more attractive. It was kind of a toss-up. A little less than half that answered the survey said they would like to be smarter. While the rest felt that life would be easier if they were more attractive. I felt that I would choose the "attractive" option too. Because being smarter would mean that my brain would constantly be working. I already have a hard enough time trying to sleep with my brain roaming around the thought of how to solve world hunger, or random math problems at the unnecessary time that I am trying to sleep. The only way to relieve the pressure of being a smart and intelligent person would be to let it all out. That is exactly what the wise man Henry Rollins does. He spews out everything that is on his very intelligent mind to the delight of a packed audience.

According to Logjam Presents

In describing Henry Rollins, the tendency is to try to squeeze as many labels as possible into a single sentence. “Rollins is many things,” says The Washington Post, “diatribist, confessor, provocateur, humorist, even motivational speaker…his is an enthusiastic and engaging chatter.” Entertainment Weekly’s list includes “Punk Rock icon. Spoken word poet. Actor. Author. DJ. Is there anything this guy can’t do?” TV Guide has more concisely called him a “Renaissance Man” but if Henry Rollins could be reduced to a single word, that word would undoubtedly be “workaholic.”

Logjam Presents is pleased to welcome Henry Rollins for a live in concert performance at The Wilma on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
