Hip Strip Welcomes Back Bridge Pizza in Missoula
Our pizza prayers have been answered, Missoula. The remodeled Bridge Pizza on Higgins is back, and it feels like a piece of downtown just slid back into place.
A Missoula Staple
With Bridge Pizza, which has been on Missoula’s food radar for years, it’s a kind of everybody-knows kind of thing. It’s not fancy, and that works just fine. It’s just really good pizza! And it’s always been there when you need it, whether that’s a late lunch, a post-concert pie, or one of those days where you really just needed hot cheese in your life.
Why Higgins Is My Spot
The Higgins spot has always been my go-to. Especially during my time at UM. I love the drive-up option. I can dash in and pick up a slice, eat it as I go. And here’s the thing: I trust Bridge Pizza so much that I don’t even ask anymore what the special is. That’s what I’m eating, whatever it is. Never once walked away disappointed. It’s that good.
Hours & How to Get Yours
The new Higgins Bridge Pizza is open Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. If you’d like to order ahead, call them at 406-542-0002. Or follow my lead: waddle up and grab the special, and feel good that you knew what to order.
Welcome Back, Bridge
It’s great to see the ovens firing again on the Hip Strip. There was something missing in Missoula without Bridge Pizza on Higgins, but now it feels like that old friend has returned home.
