Bruisefest in Billings

This is like my dream event, beer and rollerderby, wish it were taking place in Missoula. But, if you're headed to Billings this weekend, swing in to cheer on our Hellgate Rollergirls!BruiseFest is a craft beer festival and roller derby tournament all rolled into one. Derby starts at 8 a.m., beer pours at noon at the Metra Expo Center. You can get tickets online if you happen to be able to attend. $20 gets you a tasting cup and 5 drink tickets, $1 per drink ticket after, and admission to all of the bouts. Ages 16-20 and DDs, $10. Hosted by the Magic City Rollers.

10am (Game 1): Bisman vs Dockyard

12pm (Game 2): MCR vs CMD

2pm (Game 3): Winner of Game 1 vs Hellgate

4pm (Game 4): Winner of Game 2 vs Redneck Betties

6pm (Game 5): Winner of Game 3 vs Winner of Game 4

Several team members will be playing in a black and white scrimmage early in the morning, and then HGRG will bout at 2pm in the second round of the tourney. Watch their Facebook page for photos!
