Can a Special Eye Drops Give You Night Vision?

How cool would it be to become a nocturnal creature? No, Im not talking about staying up all night watching re-runs and eating Taco Bell. I'm talking about being able to function fully at night. How would you like to have the power of night vision? A video has recently gone viral, showing a man receiveing a special optical implant that allows him to have night vision. Is this legit? If so, this guy is gonna freak next time someone flicks the lights on.

A chemical called Ce6 (chlorophyll analog) is used as an eye drop. It is a chemical found in deep seas fish and is used to treat blindness. With the help of protective contact lenses, scientist applied the drops and within a few hours, Gabriel Licnia was forced to put out sunglasses from the light intensity. They believe that you can see up to 50 yards in the dark after applying the drops. Cool stuff. Now, the question is, when are you going to need these drops? It is like something straight out of the sci fi flick "Chronicles of Riddick."
