Missoula police found a missing 12-year-old girl on Tuesday afternoon and there are criminal charges against an 18-year old man that was found with her.

"Officers responded to what came in as a shoplifting call at a local grocery store just before 2:00 p.m. [Tuesday, April 4]," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh Welsh. "The suspects were actually followed to a nearby coffee kiosk by employees of the grocery store who pointed them out to responding officers."

Welsh says Aidan Dale Kaasa was taken to a safe place and was waiting for her parents to arrive to pick her up on Wednesday, the 18-year-old man is facing a number of charges.

"He was identified as one of the males that she had been reported with, Austin Adams, who is 18-years-old," Welsh said. "He was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child,  the theft at the grocery store, as well as obstructing a peace officer, for giving a fictitious identity."

The jail booking only records a charge of “Custodial Interference,” however, more charges may come from warrants out of Phillips County. Another young woman, 14-year-old Storm St. Germain is still missing (pictured below in top right of photo) and thought to be en route to Spokane. She is described as Native American about 5’8″ weighing around 125 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.

St. Germain is thought to be in the company of two to three males, who are driving in a white or silver four-door passenger car.
