Moving to Montana? First Watch Trailer for the Film ‘Grizzly’
Montana has witnessed a large influx of transplants over the last two years. Tons of people from all over the country are packing up and moving to Montana. Whether it be to escape the politics and taxes of their old homes or just to have a change of pace in their lives, we have seen plenty of out-of-state plates, and they are not just road tripping tourists.
Now, I don't agree with people giving these new guys a hard time. Judging by how toxic some people can be when dealing with "out-of-staters," it can be embarrassing for the rest of us Montanans. But, I would be lying if I said I didn't get a chuckle out of some of the things said online. Things like, Montanans predicting how fast the transplants will leave after experiencing one Montana winter. Or, listing all the things in Montana that are deadly and dangerous. Things like earthquakes, volcanos, deadly cold temperatures, wolves, snakes, mountain lions, and GRIZZLY BEARS!
At least we don't have to worry about shark attacks in Montana.
When I was younger, my father took me to see 'Jaws.' I thought it was great, until the next day when we went fishing. Things were not pleasant on the boat that day as I was constantly thinking a man-eating shark was going to have me for lunch. Keep in mind, we were fishing in eastern Montana. But, that didn't matter. I was convinced I was going to be shark bait.
