COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 2,888 New Cases, Three More Deaths

As of Friday morning, Montana has confirmed 238,801 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 2,888 new confirmed cases. There are currently 19,817 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,376,102 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 548,298 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 189,724 doses have been administered and 75,132 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 215,991 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 312 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 8,853 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,499,271.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 2,990 on Thursday to 2,993 on Friday, according to state health officials.
