Host of The Daily Show Postpones Missoula Show for a Third Time
Way, way back in the Before Time, Missoula fans of political satire were excited to see host of the Emmy Award-winning The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, perform at the Adams Center. Then, pandemic, so he postponed. Then the pandemic wouldn't end, so he postponed another year. With a new "Back To Abnormal" world tour make-up date of April 30th approaching, the news anchor/comedian has once again postponed his Missoula show for an entire year. By the time he finally comes to Missoula world peace will have occurred and he won't have anything to talk about.
The new date is Saturday, April 29th of 2023. My heart goes out to the hard-core Trevor Noah fans, waiting three years for one show is rough. And that's got to be enormous pressure on him to deliver brilliance after making people wait so long. If you won tickets from us, or purchased some, hang on to 'em and they'll be valid for the 2023 show.
My theory is that Trevor is hiding from Kanye. If you missed it, America's loose cannon Kanye West blasted Trevor Noah with racial slurs, resulting in a suspension of his Instagram account.
Trevor has written, produced, and starred in 11 comedy specials, including his most recent, “Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia,” which received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Variety Show and a Grammy Award nomination for Best Comedy Album. You can find it on Netflix.
If you are unable to attend the new date, you have until MONDAY, APRIL 18, 2022 to request a refund.
Refunds will be available for a 30-day window, starting on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at point of purchase. If you purchased through the official ticketing platform GrizTix, either online, by phone, or at the Adams Center Ticket Office OR Worden’s Market, please email griztix@umontana.edu or visit the ticket office during regular business hours to request a refund.
