Do You Wash Your Flip Flops?

The girls here at the office have some insane conversations, I'm sure the chicks at your work do the same. The other day, in one of our more innocent exchanges, we started talking about smelly flip flops and it came to my attention that girls actually wash their sandals.

Personally, my flip flops stay clean by getting rinsed in the river, and when they wear out, I just throw 'em away and get a new $10 pair. But as it turns out, some chicks actually wash their flip flops. One of the girls said that she just throws 'em in the washer when they get stinky, and another said she puts hers in the dishwasher. When we responded "eeewwwwwww" she confessed that she actually puts them in her mom's dishwasher when she isn't home. Remind me not to have dinner at her mom's place.
